Australia - April / May 2018

We arrived in Sydney April 14th from Nadi, Fiji. Sydney is a big city, so we took 5 days to discover. We stayed in a hotel apartment next to Hyde Park. On April 19th we celebrated Mirin's first birthday in the Sydney Zoo. She loved it!

The day after we flew into Melbourne and straight away where treated on a nice dinner at the house of David and family. Really enjoyed it. Thanks guys!

In Melbourne we picked up our campervan. What a beast. It is huge, but with an inefficient layout what surprisingly in makes it smaller inside than our previous camper. But we do have a separate toilet and shower! Ha!

From busy Melbourne we left for the Great Ocean Road. 

From the Ocean Road we headed land inwards through the Grampions, Bentigo, Mount Alexander, Echucca, Lake Hume, and ending up in the Blue Mountains next to Sydney. Then we followed the East Coast to the north. We celebrated daddy's birthday with our great friend Mark in Gold Coast, who made it into a memorable experience! Thanks mate, you rock! 

After some days in God Coast we wanted to stay one more night in a quiet green site, so we headed towards Mount Tamborine. 

Our last two days we spent in Brisbane, where we handed in 'the Beast' and chilled out in Brisbane.
