When you only travel to one destination or by car, bringing a baby stroller is not really an issue. But when you are ‘on the go’, a stroller is a heavy and unpractical unit. We are not fan of a stroller any way. We love our carrier. Yes, a stroller is much more easy on the back and arms. But a carrier is so much more flexible. It is small, you can go everywhere (sand, rocks, grass, hills, etc.). And, it is very portable, so ideal for travelling. OK, when you have more than 2 kids, you or need a...

We really love our pop up baby tent. What a great invention! It is light, fairly small and super practical. In many places they can supply a baby cod. But sometimes you have to rent one or they don’t have any.

Anyway, we think it is nice that our little one sleeps in her ‘own’ recognizable space. And our pop up tent is exactly that! It is a little tent that, you probably have guessed, pops up. It just unfolds. No hassle. And it comes with a little self inflating matrass. The tent has nice opening...

With or without a kid, we always took tieraps (several sizes) and a roll of Duck tape when we travel. You can use them for so many purposes. When you are a little creative, they will come very handy in many situations.

For Mirin we many times put two chairs together and tied the legs together with a tierap (or tape). Put some pillows or towels on the chairs, and there you have a great baby bed. You never need to bring your own cod.

When you put a small backpack in your maxi cosy / car baby seat an...

We love inflatables. They are light and foldable. When we travel, we take a small inflatable baby bath. You fill it under a shower. Or you boil some kettles of water to make a warm bath. Our kid loves to be in the bath!

But we also used the inflatable bath as a ‘box’ when our baby was really small. By now she can step out, but as long as they cannot stand and climb, it is a very handy play space for them. At home you can opt for a bigger inflatable bath and use it, without water, as a place area....

Any baby needs mothers milk or a powdered substitute. When you travel, the most convenient ofcourse is when baby van drink from mummies breast. In our case that proofed to be really handy. But, that’s not always possible.

When your baby is still small, it needs a little adapted and finely chopped food. Almost everywhere we travelled to, an average supermarket sold pots or squish bags with baby food. We are a little picky on the ingredients, so we always looked for the more organic brands. But, t...

Many times I see parents opening up their car booth and it is packed with stuff for their baby. a crib, a bed, a chair, toys, and much more. Try to take all that when you travel. You already have extra stuff for your baby to take. Travelling get very troublesome when you have to carry around too much stuff. And actually you don't really so much stuff. Less is more! Be creative when you are on the go.  See the rest of the blog postings for our experiences and tips...
